"Siren" is a piece that truly captures my fascination with the mysterious and haunting beauty of the ocean. As part of the Earth Spirits Series, this painting reflects the ethereal presence of its namesake—a spirit of water whose whispers seem to echo from the depths of the sea.

The swirling form at the center emerged as I imagined a vortex in the ocean, pulling in the myths and memories that have long been tied to the water’s edge. The muted whites and grays felt like the natural choice to evoke the misty veils of sea-foam and the silvery shimmer of moonlit waters. As I painted, I envisioned the Siren rising from the canvas, her essence woven into the fluid patterns that mirror the elusive nature of her song.
